Stock Displacement Question

I have heard from many sources that there are only 2 stock engine displacements, 3.0L (MTX) and 3.2L (ATX). But every now and then I hear about a 3.8L SHO. When I took my car to the shop one time, the repair paper I got back said I had a 3.2L (MTX). Can someone set me straight on this one? I'm stumped.

The 3.8 is the OHV Essex engine. It has no relation to the SHO engine. The 89-95' SHO's were available with two different engines:

MTX 3.0 Liter
ATX 3.2 Liter

The 96-99' SHO's are V8's and are 3.4 Liter displacement. I hope this helps.
