Went to State Capital last night in Baton Rouge with some friends. Didn't have time to put tires on the Shelby, and was bringing the wife/kids so the L was a no go. The SHO is a non PP edition so it's stuck with 2.7x final drive gearing. Keep in mind it was 85-89 degree's and swamp like conditions, not mine shaft air like up north. Also no cooldowns. I was bringing it up to about 2200rpms then mashing the gas. Not sure if it would've been quicker just coming off at idle, but I'd think a load on the turbo's would be better.

1st pass off the highway. 7:36pm
60ft 2.177
1/8 9.163 @ 77.33
1/4 14.139 @ 99.57

2nd 8:17pm
60ft 2.183
1/8 9.176 @ 77.45
1/4 14.148 @ 99.59

3rd pass eliminations...8:46pm
60ft 2.148
1/8 9.128 @ 77.51
1/4 14.112 @ 97.49, was on the brakes as I was ahead, broke out on a 14.13 dial in.

4th pass time trial 8:58pm
60ft 2.118
1/8 9.111 @ 77.35
1/4 14.093 @ 99.53

So factory stock down to the paper plate....14.09 @ 99 in the heat. With great weather I believe it will go some 13.5's @ 102-103, based on past expieriences with the 04 cobra, Lightning, and Shelby.

looks fairly consistent, what kinda times does your lightning run at that track?

With a 2lb upper, tune, CAI, and some exhuast it has been a best of 12.44 on DR's. That was on a great night 50* and no humidity. It generally runs 12.8-13.2 depending on weather.

Very consistent indeed. Temperature has a big impact. I was running 13.5 to 13.7 stock at around 103 when temperature was cooler. You can see vids on youtube under steve142857... Let us know what it runs when cooler ok? Are you gonna tune it? With just a tune you can expect to cut a big half second min... enjoy!

It's the wife's so I won't run it too much. But it will definitely go back once it gets cold(Nov or Dec). I want to get mid 13's stock in cold air, then add the Livernois tune and a CAI and crack 12's.

I ran a 13.124 @ 105 when it was 91 & 13.104 @ 105.4 that nite when it was 86. Cedar Falls Raceway - IA - late May. Track is at 830 ft. Adjusted altitude was much higher. Track is known to be slow.
It helps to have a 3 Bar MAPv & W/M!

But a Brick is still a Brick Need a SHO front end!
