I drove the STI instead of the SHO again for a few reasons. I would have rather driven the SHO and it would have been much faster, but I still had a lot of fun in the STI regardless. Finished mid-pack (40 out of 119) and 3rd in my class (out of 7). Lastly, figured out how to get this turd to do a few things.

Here is the video. (MOAR BETTER IN HD)

And here of various photos of me and my co-driver exploring the term "body roll" in this stock suspensioned pig.

Cars looking good! Sounds great as well.
Thing rolls much more than i expected it would even being a stock STI. And it looks like it really wants to push pretty hard in some of the faster sections.

They're rally cars, and yes they understeer.....the one I tried did it even with the diff set to the back.

Once the guys learn to drive them, they end up not pushing and sliding a bit instead.

Leaving the DCCD in Auto is the way to go. Moving it all the way back will not help with understeer. With a stock alignment and 100% stock suspension they will understeer no matter what you do, but taking advantage of lift throttle oversteer in this car helps. I didn't have any trouble with the car pushing this time as I learned when and where to apply the power. The term "slow in and fast out" really does apply to this car, trail braking really helps as well. I think I pushed the car (In it's current form) as hard as it will go. I imagine just some wider tire and a aggressive front end alignment would do wonders for this car.

It looks very composed though. Id like to own an STI at some point for sure.

How agressive is the lift off over steer on these cars? Not the deadly killer the SHO is?

Sam, when's the next AutoX? Maybe we could work a TSHOC meet around it as a spectator/cook-out event? :salute:
