Stereo/Touchscreen Problem

Anyone else ever experienced stereo randomly shutting off and on, and touchscreen doesn't respond to touch? Does it need to be updated at a dealer or need a new control module. I've been advised not to attempt changing to aftermarket.

What year ect....My 2013 had the whole thing replaced by Ford.

Upgrade to Sync3. You will then have a longterm solution for the annoying touchscreen. If you are a bit handy with electronics and Forscan programming, you can buy the needed components and DIY.

New battery is always a good thing after you buy a used vehicle. These SHOs eat Vs and As.

No SYNC3 on a 2010. My guess would be the APIM is going bad.

I have to be at the dealership at 8am they were nice enough to squeeze me in without an appointment. All my local dealerships are 2 weeks out in appointments. It's going to be $125 to do the update and diagnostics, I will know what exactly the problem is then.
