Once the car is warmed up and I turn the seering wheel a full turn and hold it in place it "bounces" back. I can slightly feel this while on the on/off ramp when the wheel is held in the same position ... but just slightly .. like the pressure is going away. No ill effect of the actual seering, just the wheel feels "funny" ..... pressure goes away and comes back.

Thanks.

OHFOSHO — right about that ... time to walk over to Wally World and stock up on some new under drawers!! :nut:

F-22 Raptor SHO — I understand variable assist power steering but it's not done this before. I'm thinking more of a slow responding valve in the rack.

.

I'd go for this also.

The rack is responsible for the feel of the feedback.

I had a 92 Taurus that did this, the wires hook to the variable assit valve were broken off. Had to take the rack out to fix it so I installed a new rack and fix the wires.
