Anyone know if the feel of a PP SHO can be adjusted since it is electronic?
I'd like to set mine for a bit stiffer steering. Thanks.

I have heard that if you change the fluid to a Dextron blah blah blah from GM it will stiffen it up. Email Sho source, Mike Simpson is the one that told me about it. I have it written down somewhere and intend to try it. I don't think there is any thing else you can do to stiffen up the rack.

I don't think the Electric power steering system has any fluid in it at all. From what I've see in the diagrams the motor bolts directly to the rack. I would imagine there is some sort of fluid in the rack but at that point the motor is in control and offering little feel back to the driver.

But I could be wrong.

There has to be a way to adjust it.
The 2012 Mustang's will have
Selectable effort Electric Power Assist Steering (EPAS)*.

Here's hoping that one of the tuning companies
can find out where it is in the code so it can be changed.
To me the effort is too light when charging the corners.

i don't think you'd want stiffer steering

the steering feel is almost like my rx-8 which was also electric... stiffer would result in a safety issue around bumpy roads with the big tires on the SHO
