In my 91 my SHO was pretty heavy to steer, not to the point of no power steering but it was hard to turn. And I on my 89 it was about average, but driving my brothers 93 ATX the steering is like its quick steer. Was there a difference in the steering in the SHO's or do you think that something was just wrong w/ my 91

my dads 93 steering seems to be boosted more than my 95..i can practically drive his with my pinky finger..mine takes a little more effort..

i dunno..maybe 93's are just weird.

Back in Michigan ... again.
93 was the first year for the speed sensitive steering in the SHO. More boost at slow speeds, less at high. Before that it was just a plain 'ol rack, which IMO I'd rather have.

The steering is a LOT stiffer on my 94ATX than it is on my wife's 95ATX. Not to hijack the thread, but could the age of a steering rack affect that? Would newer ones be stiffer? or vice versa? *shrug*
