steering groaning

hey guys my steering started groaning once it got cold out, i read on shotimes that its probaly the strut mount i think, my question is i am going to pa were im from in 2 weeks, is this something that has to be fixed right away or will it be ok for the drive, thanks

it is not unsafe, but with bad strut mounts, your car will wander a lot on roads that are worn and rutted, it will have what appears to be terrible torque steer, and generally not be as fun to drive as it should be.
