Tie rods, not tie rod ends.

Tie rod ends are of course wear items (especially if made by Ford).

Tie rods are not wear items.

(I'm having issues here today apparently).

you are correct, tie rods are not wear items, forgive me. Well they are wear items for RI and his ridiculously large rims on MA goat paths...uhhh I mean hiways.

Nope nothing ended up breaking/bending upon further inspection, but now I have a very bad passenger side wheel bearing(lots of play). So the tie-rods live on, after 20+K miles on 18's, and 121,900 total miles :p :D .

Oh yea, please explain to me how two more inches of rim is "ridiculous"? The only thing that makes look bigger is the fact that my SHO no longer has the "grand canyon" gap that your SHO has  .

RI, pay no attention to pete c. He's having a bad day.

That's a lot of wheel bearing play to cause a pull as bad as you describe. I would double check that the subframe is aligned. Again, the best way is to check the camber on both sides. If it's equal, you're probably okay. If it's different from side to side, you have a problem.

If RI wants to run 18" rims and rubber-band tires on the streets, I say more power to him. The roads I drive on every day will not tolerate it, and I am not willing to slow down for every dip in the road, nor navigate around potholes for fear of gouging a rim or bottoming out due to lack of suspension travel.

My car is about 1" lower all around as a result of springs, and it's as low as I'd go on the street. Taurii don't have that much travel to begin with; I'm not about to compromise what I do have. Besides, with the strut suspension, lowering it more kills the handling due to the geometry and camber gain with suspension travel.

Yep it was aligned to -2 on each side, but they forgot to straighten the steering wheel out squint , i'll probaly go back to get that fixed. I here what you say thats what my 2yrs of driving with the SHO on 18's has been like, swerving/stoping for most serious bumps out there.

I'm actually having a pretty good day, but, go ahead and ignore me anyhow.

RI, bad bearing huh? That kinda sucks. I just did both my fronts on the SLO. 90 bucks just to get the new bearings pressed in. You may be able to get remanned steering knuckles with the bearings already inplace. If you can for less than 100 bones a side, I would consider it. That way, the whole thing has the AZ lifetime guarantee which will come in handy next time they forget to put up a ****** road ahead sign.

BTW, what you talking about canyons? My tire diameter is the same as yours. Maybe I'll get me some whitewalls, big fat ones like pimps used to put on their eldorados in the 70s. That will solve the canyon look.

What? you have a 25.4" tire diameter on stock slicers? If you do, you must have about a 50series wall then huh?

I'll look into the reman knuckles, thx for the help everyone.
