What does it mean when you turn the wheel from left to right and vice versa in a quick motion and when you go to turn the opposite direction, you hear a clunk each time? Is that the rack having slop in it or a tierod/balljoint? Or I was thinking it that it may be the "unknown" clunk that is solved by the MOOG TPR K8737 Kit for the strut mount to subframe connectors. Car seems to pass the "wiggle test" done properly.. any thoughts??

Get the car off the ground and crawl under it with a rubber mallot in hand. Tap everything you can think of suspension and steering related.

You will know it when/if you find it.

Quite often, a bad tie-rod or sway bar endlink will not FEEL loose, but will definetly sound loose when slapped with a rubber mallot.

The swaybar endlinks are brand new; as I replaced them with the new struts in the front. The LCA; outer/innner and strut bushings are all 84k old.

Just be sure they are TIGHT.

Sway bar endlinks can be very tough to get tightened properly to the strut.

I chased a mysterious clunk for months, only to find my newly installed endlink was a bit loose.
