This is the beguining of my 1990 turbo sho, you can see the well used JE pistons shaved 1.5 mm and the custom metallic 2.4 mm head gasket to lower the compresion ratio.
hopefully the sds arrives this weekend, turbo and intercooler next month, wish me luck, any advise wellcome.

what do you mean by SDS turbo? What is SDS? Also, why did you have a custom head gasket made? What compression ratio are you trying to achieve? Seems like you are going all out! I like it...

MAybe he means Squires Turbo System. I know they don't make a kit for our cars but maybe he peiced one together. Looks like you might have to chenge your Sig to
"The first remote turbo sho in existance"

i applaud your project and can't wait to see more updates. Make sure to build everything else for the power. Get a Tweecer R/T and a Wide band 02 for tuining along with propperly sized injectors and high flow fuel pump, better fuel regualtor etc... Don't forget about the weak link in the SHO, its' transmission too much power = wheel spin and wheel spin = broken input shafts and a tossed diff pin. Also who made that head gasket? Are you sure it's going to seal boost and coolant in that bad boy propperly? Dose it have a fire fing around the piston area for seaing compression in the cylinder? I guess you're kinda going with a route like copper head gaskets which "can" seal in allot of power but usually tend to leak.

Hmmm... it's interesting, however, I'll keep my $400 TwEECer.

I would use some caution with the new head gaskets. I'd hate to see a built motor bite the dust from it leaking. As far as compression, you really don't have to go that low. Many of us are around the 9.5:1 range and making LOTS of power.

sds install

yes its not compatible with the stock sensor but we will put magnets in the main crank pulley, also my mechanic has a 300 hp corolla with sds you have to see that car its neat, ill post Photos of it later. also the sds has its oun idle valve, i had a tweecer but so many bugs and not much quality information, the write by axinator was very nice but it came late since i just paid for sds. the gaskets does have fire ring. just waitig for the ecu.

could u not get a tweecer setup shipped down ito costa rica ?

a tweecer setup plugs in in about 5 minutes, costs way less, has ALOT more options, includes datalogging, and requires NOOOOO mods to the wiring at all

that SDS setup looks horribly overpriced, i cant understand the logic

you also could have ordered any compression ratio you want for pistons, good luck with those metal gaskets

you live and learn, sds its not so expesive if you compare to haltech or motec, also they main advantaje is that the guy thats helping me has 12 sds instaled alredy. if annything goes wrong ill put my xj2 and tweceer again and sell sds.
