What is the right replacement part number for the clutch pedal starter lock out switch for my '92 MTX SHO? Anyone know?

It is better to post in the GenI / GenII section for this part.

You may have to settle for used on this part or try to fix the one you have.

How difficult is it to eliminate the switch? Obviously I haven't started working on it yet but I suspect the solution might be to just remove it and splice the in and out wire together?

That could be done. Earlier manual transmission cars did not have a clutch switch.
It just means that every time you have someone move your car, you will worry that they forgot it was a manual and did not engage the clutch.

Personally, if getting a stock switch means a long wait for delivery, I would wire a discrete toggle switch that would make the car harder to steal. Problem is, you have to remember to turn the toggle off, after you start the car.
