Hi everyone, welcome to the warmer days of the year in Michigan! I know I'm still new here and all, but this summer I've been invited to join a pick-up tournament of baseball, and I need to assemble a team. Here's the way it's gonna work:
-Lob-pitch, easy to hit, three-swing at-bats.
-Full infield and outfield, full teams of 9.
-4 Teams playing on Sundays at 5 PM, field as of yet undetermined, but somewhere in Southeast MI near the Garden City-Westland-Dearborn/Dearborn Heights-Canton-Inkster-Wayne-Taylor-Allen Park-Livonia Area.
If this is something that sounds llike fun to you, and you'd like to participate, I currently have a team of 5 and need a few more players to fill up the following positions:
-Left Field (please be able to catch flyballs)
-Right Field (same)
-2nd Basemen
-Catcher (Kind of, odds are you'll just be batting, so it's like a DH position)
If you want to play, feel free to contact me on AIM at Sabianblue. If you want to play with your own team, I will do my best to see if we can get your team in, just contact me and Ill work it out.
I hope this summer is as fun as its starting out to be, hope to see some of you soon.
