Stalls while reading codes

My 93 AT SHO stalls once every day when cold and gas milage is about 11. The CEL comes on intermittently. When I turn on the code reader for the KOER test I get the 3 beeps indicating a 6 cylinder. The engine RPM rises and falls for about 30 seconds then the engine dies returning no codes.

The code reader works fine on my 93 5 speed KOER and KOEO.

Why don't you just run the key on, engine off (KOEO) test to retrieve the codes that have already been stored?

Replace the ISC/IAB/BPA valve if there are no stored codes.

Its job is to regulate idle speed under the control of the computer.
