stalling

hello i am new to the sho world and so far it has been the best car i have had but i have a problem. when the engine is cold it stalls easily when starting off and after it stall it takes about 1/2 a minut to start, it seems like it is flooding its self. if you could please help me out that would be great. thanks .
i have another question do the sho s have interfierance heads. if the timing belt snaps do the pistons collide with the valves

the car is a 93 sho mtx

The first of probably many... Welcome to SHOforum :thumbs_u: . As far as your stalling problems the first thing you should do is check your codes. The procedure can be found Here and the meaning of these codes can be found Here . As far as the timing belt breaking and stuff colliding with the pistons, no. The SHO engine up until 95 was a non-interference engine. Not sure on 96 and above, I believe those engines will damage if it breaks....or if the cams fail (which is why everyone on here suggests you get them welded). Sounds like if you are worried about the timing belt breaking, and are having problems with starting ect....Time for a 60K....How about history of maintainance?
