stalled out???

hey I have a mtx and i stalled out today backing out of my driveway. i hate how heavy the gas pedals are ****** me off lol. just trying to defend myself for stalling out. anyway.....the car wouldn't start after??? It was cranking but wasn't getting any spark. well, could the spout sensor have anything to do with this because one of mine is bad? like the spout circuit shorted or something. unpluged the battery for a couple min and it started up under some protest. what caused this???

Probably your CPS (Crank position sensor). It needs replaced if it is failing. Have you done your front 60K?

wouldn't the cps fire a code? i was thinking that it could cause this, but it would happen all the time. i've stalled out a couple times before not paying attention and the car has had a hard time startiing after those times as well. cranks for 30 secs then starts. this time it wouldn't start until i unpluged the battery. ya i pulled the codes and there wasn't any new ones. just the one that says you stalled you car and the ones that have always been there like 219 (spout connecter) its weird, i think it has to be related to the spout and the PIP signals

well i just bout a new spout connector so hopefully it will solve the problem???
