Well the new calipers are nice, but I just realized I don't have a screw for attaching the brake line (russell SS) to the caliper.

The same screws from my 90's front calipers have a corser thread on them. Maybe I can get this screw from a dealer?

PM sent. I would bet you are looking for a fine thread banjo bolt from the old style Cobra calipers. Just a guess, but I had to buy a whole bunch a year or so ago, since Ford obsoleted them, and none of the parts stores carried them.

This is the banjo bolt you're looking for. I had to go to a bone yard for mine; all the dealers around here couldn't get them. FWIW, you're looking for the banjo bolts for a 1999-2004 Mustang GT; the original application of those calipers you have. :thumb:

After looking at the bolt in the "I pulled this bolt out and may car fell apart:evilgrin: " picture, I think the fine thread cobra is different than the fine thread Mustang GT. I will go out and compare the Cobra bolt, but I think it has a beveled end rather than a rounded end.

How about:

"I wish this one bolt was all it took to remove my transmission"

or

"I had to remove a few parts to find a bolt I dropped"

or

"It took a while, but I finally found my transmission bolt (right next to the muffler bearing)"

Good luck on the transmission - glad to see you kept your sense of humor.

"I'm in ur car, steelinz ur bolt!"

For my cobra/mach1 calipers, the bolt from the 94/95 SHO caliper worked just fine.
