About two weeks my car stated to develop a high pitch squeal in the engine bay. I used a stethoscope and diagnosed the problem to be the upper idler pulley. Well I just changed the idler pulley and the squeal is still there. When using the stethoscope the only place that indicates any probles whatsoever would be the upper idler pulley although I just changed it. All the other pulleys seem to test out fine. The two things I have come up with is either the power steering pump is on its way out or the AC compressor is on its way out. Anyone have any suggestions?
