Squealing Brakes FIXED!!!

ok, so ive been dealing with brake squeal like crazy coming from the rear. tried switching pads to no avail. and then last week i noticed that when i had the rear up and the ebrake on the right wheel was still spinning. so i trucked over to autozone and got a new caliper for $29.99. 30 minutes later im in business and NO MORE SQUEALING!! just a thought for you guys.

no, i think the whole piston was shot more or less. the ebrake wouldnt even engage. so the brakes dont squeal but i still get a shrill *hoot* sound when i take off from park, so i gotta look into that now. maybe its my other rear caliper ::shrugs:: it never ends.
