Interesting. Maybe my belts are a wee bit too tight? I haven't heard complaint from the driven accessories in 50,000 miles since I put the gatorbacks on so I did put them on tighter than they should be it's not enough to take out my SHO's ancient pulley bearings and shafts.

I think sdpatt noticed the whine I'm talking about with the gatorbacks. IIRC he didn't like the sound and installed some different belts. Then again maybe I'm not remembering correctly, lol!

Check your pullies, it could be the idler pulley or tensioner pulley bearing, the bearing might be on its way out. You can replace the whole pulley or just the bearing itself, the bearing needs to be pressed out.
