Squeaky Steering Wheel

My SHO has developed an annoying squeak when I turn the steering wheel. It’s not a noise from the steering components (rack). I’m thinking a little “well-placed” grease may solve the problem where the whee rotates. Any ideas on where to start?

I posted about this as my 12 does it as well, but didn't get many responses, just that it was a normal Ford thing . . .

Mines does too. I just turn the stereo up.

I'm having the same problem with my 2015. My problem started at 95-K when the dealer took the column apart to fix something else. I had issues since their fix. I had an ESP at the time that expired at 100-K. They are looking at it again this week.
