squeaky brake pedal!

When I apply the brake pedal, it makes a noise kinda like the bottom of my shoe is wet and it is slipping off the pedal. Very noisy and very squeaky. ANyone know what could cause this?

I'm dying to know the fix, too. mine's been that way for a while. comes and goes.

possibly the rod that goes through the firewall and to the master cylinder is squeeking as it slides through the rubber weather boot?

I'm very happy with the silverstars. I went threw 3 cheaper set of headlights including the ricer white 100 watts bulbs and ones with a little HID blue tint. Overall light from the silverstars worked best for me.

yup, mine's still driving me NUTS too!
I even had it in the shop, well if you can call it that. It was at Carmax getting the AC fixed and new SFB's thumb . I told them about the pedal. 10 days later, my car is finally done. I went to pick it up, and it still makes the noise!
I figure I will put up with it until something major comes up, AGAIN

Mine does it ever so slightly, nothing to bother me but my mom's 99 SLO does it real bad, and my car has more miles on it that hers does.
