I'm rather new to the forum... and to the world of the Taurus SHO. Regardless, I have a 1990 with about 105k and i get this very audible squeak from the drivers side front. Even when it's sitting and i bump the car or push it, i will get a squeak. On the freeway it will go away when i turn the wheel but outside of that i just get this annoying high pitched squeak. Any ideas on the root of the problem and how i can fix it? thanks

I just fixed a similar problem, high pitched squeaking from the drivers side. I thought it was the steering rack but it was the outer tie rod end. I replaced both sides and the problem's gone. Jack up the front and remove both wheels and turn the wheel and you should hear it. I got the moogs for $65,good luck.
