This is similar to the creaking and groaning in Arizona thread, but mine does it all the time, not just on hot days. It seems to do it more when I turn left than when I turn right. I have a '95 SHO with 66,000 miles on it. I have not gotten a 60K done, would that help? It's pretty embarrassing when friends say they can hear me coming not by my stereo, but because of the squeaks...

Thanks,
tido

Both inner and outer tie rods are gone by 60K. That is the most likey cause of your sweaking while turning.

If it is making creaking noises when turning, it could be the problem that I had recently with my '89. The bearings were going out in my CV-joints on the halfshafts. Long story short, they snapped and I replaced the halfshafts. 90 bucks in parts for the pair of shafts, (I went ahead and did both sides) and a few hours work. When it happened I thought I blew the tranny. Whew!
