This question sounds really dumb. But I have tried EVERYTHING I can think of to try to get my belt to stop sqeaking. It drives me insane. It's louder than the engine itself. I've replaced the belt. I've sprayed and soaked it with belt condtioner. I've messed with the tight and looseness of it. But nothing. Does anyone have any clue????????

Are you sure its the belt and maybe not an idler pulley? You should take off the belt and check all the other pulleys as well.

Blown A/C clutch? The front plate of mine is loose and "jingles" and little bit.

You know what....this seems to be the only thing I can think of because I replaced the compresser a couple of months back, and for the most part it stopped sqeawking. However, I got it from a junkyard and that thing blew so it's sqealin like a schlameal. But Even after I first changed the compresser it still sqealed.....just not near as bad. Over time it got worse; than the compresser stopped working.
