Sputtering issue

Last couple days it has been happening, CEL comes on and car sputters for a short bit, step on the gas it sometimes hesitates and makes like it is back fireing, does it for about a minute or so then CEL goes out and car runs fine. havent gotten a code read on it yet, Just was wondering where i might want to be looking first, and also at WOT it sometimes boggs down, will have to release the gas and reapply to get it to take off, you can hear secondaries open it just doesnt respond, All replies are appreciated.
