He didn't mean to say he spun the thrust bearing, he meant to say the main spun, sheared out and scratched the **** out of the thrust bearings.
It completely locked up. Even the starter could not turn it.
The motor was actually in decent condition, however, I did suggest that he replace the bearings because it had a bad head gasket. Oh well, a newer, better motor is in the making.
The motor actually ran well for 6,000 miles with hard street, track (road course and drag strip) with a 75 shot of nitrous.
