Spring meet/BBQ feeler thread...

Well now that there's all kinds of new SHO guys coming out of the Nebraska wood work, Im going to post a feeler thread for a meet sometime soon.

I was thinking April 30th (Saturday) anyone and everyone is welcome to come over for a BBQ. I've got a huge back deck and a massive back yard so kids and pets are welcome. We at the LJRuddy household are also very beer friendly FWIW. Maybe a cruise/photoshoot before or afterwards? I happen to live with a decent photog and I'm sure he'd be down to snap some pics of the beater SHOs.


So what says everyone? April 30th good? Another weekend maybe? I will be in Kansas City from the 21st to the 25th for my B-Day and I am going to be in Minnesota for the SHO meet on the weekend of May 14th. Any other weekend would work fine for me though.

In case anyone is wondering where I am (mainly for the new guys), I live in Papillion near 66th and cornhusker.

Post up your thoughts! And if you have a better idea for a meet location, feel free to share it. And although encouraged, SHOs are not mandatory (cough cough, Jason) so bring whatever you want. As long as its not a honduh.

Noon till whenever sounds good to me. And I'd prefer a *** luck. I'll supply the basic BBQ stuff (hamburger, hot dogs, chicken if anyone prefers that etc). But yes a running list is a great idea. :wave:

I guess we better start a running list of who's bringing what. You don't have to bring anything if you dont want to but if there is something specific you would like to eat or drink, you should probably bring it with you. See the first post for the *** luck list.

I'll see if I can talk my fiance into making some mac salad or potato salad - both homemade and are very good.

And if she doesn't have time (has other things going on about the same time as this) I'll stop by a grocery store and get some of whichever one most people will want.
