I pulled into a gas station yesterday and realized I only had one tailight cover. My guess is it blew off on the highway. This happened once before but i saw it and was able to go back and get it. No such luck this time. I don't really want to buy another set of tailight covers incase the same thing happens again. How about Spray Tint. I've seen it done on a cadillac once. The kid sanded down the light with 1500 grit sand paper, then sprayed on the tint spray. They look as dark as tailight covers but when he turn his light on or applies the brake, the lights light up perfectly. Anyone think this is a good idea. I figure it'll look good too. Mask off the reverse light and spray around it. What do you guys think?

I don't think you need to sand anything and the effects are great. Mike Holhut from the Forum has it on his car, but his car would look sweet even without it. Here's a link to his web site. It gives details on how he did his lights.

Hope this helps out.
