Split Bumper

Hey Hey! I was recently in a minor fender bender during this crazy holiday weekend. And yes, if your asking, it was my fault. I wasn't paying attention and lightly tapped the car in front of me(no i wasn't on my phone either). The bumper cover, per say, was fine on the outside becuase the license plate holder stopped any damage. However when i looked under my car i found this. Im not really worried about it but if i can take it off and put some epoxy on it then, great! The crack is on the thick black plastic bumper directly attached to the frame. So yeah......oh and Happy Holidays!!

What a bummer. Looks like a little bumper repair is due. Worked for a body man in my spare time for a few years. He repaired a bunch of them. Maurice

as these cars have gotten older, that plastic pieces seems to break too easily.

I would just grab a good one from the jy - they are the same for all Taurus and Sable of the same generation, afaik.

Tis what I did off a sable. Cost me $37 and I got new mounts too for free on it!

Thanks guys. I can't for the life of me think why they make that bar out of plastic. But its whatever. SHOstopper1992 I have a quick question. Did u have to replace that bar because of a fender bender? Merry Christmas! Haha
