I am trying to install a new upper speedometer cable in my 94ATX. Old cable is out.I can't find the hole in the firewall from the inside for routing of the new cable into the engine area. You do have to route the lower end of the upper cable from inside the car correct? The speedometer connection seems way too big to route through the firewall but I didn't try that. Just tell me where I need to aim the cable so I can find that darn hole.Any advice is greatly appreciated. Will have it back together in no time once I figure this out!!!!!

It Might be easer for you to first locate the hole in the firewall from under the hood. Then push a wire or something through the whole and find it from the inside.

Tried that with no luck. I would think it would be obvious but I couldn't see it. Any other ideas?

Its way up above the Brake pedal you are going to really have to get under the dash to see it. What kind of wire did you use. Try something stiff like a coat hanger. I had no problem finding mine cause thats where I had fed my wires through for my gauges.
