speedo lamp out maybe?

Noticed this morning, in the dark, that my speedo backlighting was very dim around the 70mph mark on the guage. Are there multiple lights back there and maybe just the top one is blown? 1995 SHO with 124000 miles.

Yeah, it takes a standard 194 marker bulb.

bwt... how the @$^&# do you get that apart to change the bulbs... i've been wondering that... i've gotten so close... but it won't come past the steering columbn shroud...

btw... i'm tlaking gen 1 instrument pannel
