I'm doing front wheel bearings on my 94ATX and cannot get the speed sensor out of the knuckles. Any tricks. I ruined one already-don't want to make it two.

Don't you mean the ABS sensor? Those will literally weld themselves to the knuckle. Repeated alternating applications of PB blaster and MAPP gas will be required. Sometimes not even that works and it gets ugly then... good luck my man.

Disconnect the sensors, and bring them all with you to the machine shop to get the bearings pressed in and out. Unless you live in TX, NM, CA, or AZ, the sensors do not come out of the spindle intact.

You can cut a "slice" towards the ABS sensor. This will relieve some of the pressure on the sensor. There is no need to worry about the sensor falling out, as the bolt will hold it in place. I have done this more than once.

Once you get the old sensor out, slightly grind the ABS sensor hole bigger to allow easier removal the next time.:thumb:
