Speakers don't work when cold...

Literally, when the air temp inside the car is below 70 deg. the speakers don't work. radio responds to controls but CD player is blank.

Stock JBL system.

Same thing happens to me. I think that it has to do more with the radio and cd player than the speakers. I am going to get a new head unit and replace the old one. That should help out I believe.

My speakers don`t work unless the dimmer switch is all the way up.I have no idea how to correct these electrical gremlim problems.

something might be condensing and then getting wet at low temps and hightemps changing constantly, check all your grounds and try running new wires by by-passing the amps, if this doesn't work you have more of a problem that you know
