I have them in the car currently. I'm not sold that they are worth the added costs though.
Question for some of you spark plug guru's....
Forget about brand, but what would be some common symptoms of spark plugs that may be TOO cold in heat range? Stumbling at part throttle or at WOT? Any experience here?
Stumbling at part throttle. Ran 542s when I ran meth alot more than I do now. Went back to 534s everything was all good then.
Yeah, I got that going on right now, part throttle stumble...with e85 I may not want have as cold of a plug as the fuel burns at a lower temp...I've been thinking that's what my problem is at it didn't do it before the fuel switch to corn but wanted to get some validation before I make the change…
I found that opening up the gap just a tad on the SVO running E85 allowed it to run better. Opened the gap from .26 to .29 and it idles better and is stronger up top.
Maybe that's my problem. I could feel my car surging on the track with my meth on. I t went away with the meth off and I was running near the same ET.Stumbling at part throttle. Ran 542s when I ran meth alot more than I do now. Went back to 534s everything was all good then.
