I run taylor thundervolt 8.2's and motorcraft platinums. Ive tried others such as NGK Vpower and Bosch IR Fusion and i still keep going back to the motorcrafts.

We've got the Taylors on two of our SHO's and they seem to be great. And no, I didn't see a "design flaw" of the first connector being shorter. If it is, it seems to be a subtle difference.

Mine ran great too. The insulation on them just doesn't last, and being that the spark had to jump farther, I burned out the cylinder 1 coil on 2 coil packs. The Duralast just seem to fit better, and you save $40.

X 4 on the Autolite DP's, Best bang for the buck IMO. I worked for NAPA for a long time and i've tried a few different ones without any noticeable difference or discrepancies.

I stick with the AGS32PP's and Motorcraft wires.

If your plug wells are full of oil don't let all the oil drain into the cylinder. You need to soak up all the oil with a paper towel, or what not.
