Okay so 1 of my new wheels came in yesterday. Very nice looking wheel and the Falken tire looks nice and feels to be decently soft compound. I ordered the wheels in 2 offsets 40mm front and 35mm rear for my 93. The one wheel that showed up says 45mm on the back of it. WTF?!? Might just be a generic stamp and a custom offset. Don't think its gonna clear my new 13" baer calipers with this offset or clear my struts for that matter. I'm in italy and it took almost 2 months for this one wheel to get here via ground delivery. There is no way I'm gonna wait 2 more months to send this back and get the right one. I'll check it out tommorow when I get a chance.

Can I use a 5mm spacer to push this wheel out safely? I'm hoping the back ones are correct at 35mm. I found a pair of universal 5x100-112mm 5mm spacers on ebay for like $10. might order them to correct the problem. Any body use small spacers to push their wheels out some like 5-10mm? any side effects? factory studs long enough to grab safely.

I'm done.

I use a 3/16" spacer on our 12" PBR Cobra kit. This is about as far as you would want to go with stock lugs. I have even seen some stock lugs be too short for a 3/16" spacer.

Hope the wheels fit, and it is just a mislabel.

I used a 5mm spacer on some 18" wheels with a 45mm offset and had no problems what so ever. Might want to make sure you don't need hubcentric rings also.

OH you didn't know
If you use spacers, you may as well throw the hubcentric rings out the window. If you want to do it right, get H&R spacers or maybe Eibach spacers. They may make the spacer you need and are hubcentric.

Can you get longer studs to press into the hubs? Where can I get them and how much are they? Never hurts to have slightly longer studs especially if the new wheels have caps that cover the lugs.

Josh at SHO Nut Performance also offers hubcentric spacers. I have to use them with my SHO Stopper Jr. brake kit while running slicers.
