I purchased my tz kevlar clutch about a year ago for 430 dollars. I got the clutch very fast. After 10k miles i am VERY pleased with this clutch. It has a stock feel, smooth engagment, and very good grip. Im almost always really easy on it, but it has seem some kinda smokey drag starts. It still grips the same as day 1.

Huh. I have the exact same clutch setup as you. I however have some different opinions.

1) The TOB that came with it rattles when shifting at over 4000 rpm. It also feels sticky. I did loctite the quill sleve onto the shaft.

2) I have had the disk glaze on me twice. Once durring San Fransico driving and once durring regular flatland city driving. I was not pleased...I thought kevlar was supposed to get more sticky when hot?

3) The engage point for this clutch is way too far up in the clutch pedal travel for me. I still find myself trying to adjust the pedal over and over with no results.

----On a lighter note. I am happy with the holding power of the clutch. But I dont think I would spend this much money again for this result. We'll see how long it lasts...
