source of the atx timing belt tensioner?

Only place I can think of off the top of my head (I think, it is late) is SHO SHOP(shoshop.com) oh_my Others may not recomend SHO SHOP, and I listen to others, so I don't either...but you asked... sleep

They are available only as a Ford part. There is no aftermarket source available AFAIK.

There have been no reports of difficulty getting them, they're just expensive (over $100).

I spoke with Sho Shop two weeks ago and they had stated that Ford Discontinued the ATX Tensioner. They recommended I go to a junk yard. I got a hold of FPN and they stated they had the part, but I am sceptical to that fact, due to the easy confusion of such parts.

Well apparently they are still available through the Ford dealer,I just ordered one.Itis pricey,118.00.Maybe this car will live again.Thanks for the replies,Jim Dow :)
