Have a 1993 MTX R12 a/c. The referenced line is cracked. Can someone advise a source/part no.

I'd any appreciate any information to get me in the right direction.

Thanks.

Isn't that just the liquid line with orifice tube? If so, 4 Seasons part # 55722. Find them all day for about $25.

If it's the high side line (the lower line on the firewall) from the evaporator to the the condensor that's it. I was just given a description by my mechanic. He marked the line on a component diagram and I'll take a look tonight when I get home.

Thanks for responding so quick!

I got mine from TechChoice parts. I think it was $22 shipped. I ordered an accumulator from them for about 1/2 price too at $50 compared to $100 normally. It was a cheapy made-in-China unit with a slight bend that made fitment a little more difficult. Next time around, I think I'll spend the $100 and get the better fitting, better made part. The liquid line that you need will be ok though; there's not much to it and you won't have too bad of a fitment issue.

To increase the knowledge base here the Ford Part No. for the liquid hose, 3.0L MTX is E9DZ-19835-A. I've been told, although am not certain that the part no. for the 3.2 is F3DZ-19835D-A. Both are obselete but there's still a few lingering on shelves somewhere. Motorcraft O-rings should be YF982.

Because I wanted to avoid fitment issues I went with the Ford part from a NOS supplier which sold at below list, $29.79. They go from some suppliers for about $60.00. Hopefully when I get it it's the right part!

The information you've given got me on the right track so I thank you agaim
