Has any body ever sound proofed there trunk and the wing? Right now i got 2 12" kicker comp vr subs. And they are just rattling the **** out of my trunk. And what really is rattling the most is my wing. i was wondering what would be the best way to make that wing solid back there????

Thanks

I have soundproofed my trunk. It was a big improvement in the sound, and it stopped a lot of the rattles, but my spoiler also still rattles a good bit. I don't think you can do too much to stop the spoiler from rattling.

I know quite a few people that have soundproofed thier trunks due to insane audio systems. Dynamat works great, I've heard a before and after with it, and it does make a world of difference.

I was thinking maybe put some silcon sealent underneith my wing to seal it up. and then take the wing completly off...And then put some rubber washers on there to stop the rattling??? what do u think of that??

I highly suggest Raammat. I don't remember the guy's email but I think that if you do a search you will find it. Awesome stuff, just like Dynamat only much cheaper.

I just really need something to seal the wing.Or stop is from rattleing against the car. I may try the foam pads. then look into something else...

SHOGuy93: Your on the right track. Sometimes you have to try different things out to see which one works. I haven't done my SHO's trunk, but I started my 97 Cavalier and had done some friends trunks. It takes time and $$$ but the results are well worth it.
