Yeah, that 4k pop is a bitch. I had my exhaust disconnected at the flex pipe once just to hear what it sounded like, it was funny when my next door neighbor, who was working in his yard, came running over to get a look at what was making all that noise, sounded like a race car!

That limiter is there to prevent you from overheating and shredding your converter when revving it in park or neutral.

nonetheless, rev-limiter or not it sounds awesome. I think instead of buying another Gen II when I get the cash I'll just get a Gen III and get a whole exhaust set-up done and I'd be happy. Well that and some nice wheels and lower it, duh. Thats all you need for those things and they are cool.

boo on nitrous, I wonder how these things would run with like 15% nitro and 10% alcohol mixed in with some 97 octane.

Nice. But I must ask. My son had a SVT Contour and it had the stock exhaust on it. It really had a nice tone to it. Has anyone tried those mufflers?

A POS black '97. The thing never wants to to be driven I guess. The tranny went out last summer the first day it got up to like 90ºf and right now it's just sitting because a piston ring came apart in the engine. My father is going to help me start taking it apart this weekend. The thing has been sitting for like 4 months.
