I got one on my 2010 Fusion , but you still have to touch the hatch.

Unless you give it a **** of a swing. (it has gas shocks)

I have no problem using the strap to close the trunk, do it every week after I wash the ride so as not to get fingerprints on my precious...

Hands dirty I thought it was a joke at first haha.. That push button woudln't work so great if you have one of those pack jobs your just not that sure about.. And it can't close and gives the motor a nice gear stripping than it's stuck open and you gotta bring it to the dealer and pay them $1,200 to fix it.
