Somebody please help

Does anybody have an idea of where I should start I just got a 94 ATX I wanna fix up. Maybe roast some mustangs or something. I'm interested in putting in the 3.0 cams but is that all I have to do is there anymore to it? Somebody help me out.

Make sure all the maintenance is done such as the 60K etc.

theres an app for that.

if your into it that far. might as well do some maintenance too

timing belt, water pump,clean and reseal VCG's,have intake manifold hot tanked and cleaned ect ect..

its not as easy as slappin cams in the motor.

yea I just bought the car from a guy who just put a new water pump, valve cover gaskets, plugs, wires, cam seals, and a whole list of other shit. I'm looking for a list of everything I'm going to have to do in order to put these 3.0 cams in. Also the transmission is shifting hard into third gear. I was wondering if any body new of any common problems, other than the transmissions being peices of shit.

Step 1. Remove 3.2 cams

Step 2. Install 3.0 cams.


Kidding aside, you could start by using the PERFORMANCE UPGRADES sections, since this would theoretically be a PERFORMANCE UPGRADE. You're not going to see much in terms of gains, though, and you'd probably end up feeling pretty disappointed after going through all that work to swap cams.

Shift Kit with a Blower would do the trick. It`s probably the best place to put your money. Also the maintenance, if you claim that it has been done. Go with the first part, strap a blower to it, shift kit with maybe a heavy duty trans rebuild (as heavy duty as humanly possible for the ATX), and let her rip.
