About two years ago, I installed the Ford keyless remote system for my SHO. (It came with power locks, but not keyless remote) About a month ago, the unit started failing to lock the car. My Tech said that the remote unit module had failed.
For Christmas this year, my wife bought me an aftermarket remote system with remote start. We installed a similar system on her car a year ago. At the time she requested this system, I looked at it as a giant pain and totally useless. Now, I wouldn't be without it. Last couple of nights here the temp has been 7 and 12 degrees. Getting into a fully warmed up car is worth it's weight in gold.
