While doing my brakes yesterday, I noticed that my trans mount is well, dead. Does anyone make a solid mount for the ATX? I know about the reinforced motor mount (thanks TYSHO), but doing the same for the trans would be neat.

Thanks.

I think hypermike d carries them...do a search and you will find some. I am not 100% sure on that though.

the krager.com mounts they list for the 1990 SHO are not even close.

The pioneer tranny mount at www.kragen.com (which seems to be a solid not hydro mount), is the correct mount for the ATX, as it is a few feet away from me now. Whether the Anchor mount they list is correct or not I do not know.

What, like the way you copied Tony's MTX mounts, but yet he never complains and acts like he has a patent?

Anyways, as I've always said...I did mine different! You act like you have a patent with it, but guess what...you don't and anyone can do it. You just seem to want everything kept a secret and overcharge people for something that is easy and cheap to do! Your not into helping out SHO guys, but into milking every penny you can out of anyone you can. There's a different design in them all, mtx or atx, and it is nobody's special design.

BTW, I think he is looking for ideas on a reinforced tranny mount, unless the ones you guys are talking about, Pioneer or whatever, are reinforced.

There are always two sides to every story. I have been coating intakes, making solid mounts and doing my part to be helpful in the sho community since '99 but occasionally I get people who dont return my cores or try to screw me in other ways. I dont have any patience for that sort of thing and I dont care to do business with those type of people so yeh I end it quick and blunt so you dont get a chance to screw me twice !!

And dont worry this sho stuff doesnt pay my bills :hpoop:

Sorry to hear some of you had bad experiences with Mike...I have known him for several years and have used his stuff and have NEVER had a problem...quality work, received stuff when promised, has helped via e-mail and phone if I had questions. All I can say is I love the stuff he has and will keep buying his stuff!
