solid button EATC bulb part numbers/questions

I just put in a new solid button style EATC in my 92 SHO. Upon completing the installation I found that only half of the buttons light up on the new EATC. I figured some of the bulbs were toast so I tried swapping the bulbs from my old soft style button EATC into the new one. Turns out they use different bulbs. My new solid button EATC has these short stubby ones while the old soft button uses longer ones that don't work in the new EATC. Well just to make sure it was the bulb itself and not the EATC circuit board I switched the location of the bulbs. When I did the same bulbs didn't work in their respective spot so it is the bulbs. So I have 2 bottom bottons (that share 1 bulb) that don't illuminate at night.

Does anyone have the part number of the new EATC shorter bulbs?

The correct part number for your general illumination bulbs should be F5VF-13B765-A_ and HI/LO bulbs should be E80Y-18541-A. Whenever in doubt, remove the EATC and look on the bottom, there should be a label affixed explaining replacement procedure and part numbers.

Where can I pick up a new solid button EATC? Do they drop in without modification?

Actually, the part number I got for the 95 EATC bulbs was F5VY-13B765-AA, FWIW.

Fred, do you still have those bulbs on your shelf in Spencer? If so, would you be willing to sell me a few of them? I'd much rather come up to say hello than go to my local Ford dealership.

Sure, if you like Alex - according to my records, I paid $9.75 ea. I have one in hand to report the p/n, and I believe I have 5-6 total.
