Socket for taking out (ETC) fan control sensor???

I'm having a devil of a time finding a socket to take out the ETC fan sensor on my 95 ATX. It looks like I need a deep socket 25MM socket. Am I correct? What have you used?

1" deep socket. Works like a champ.

Yes, it's standard. I don't know why.
