my 89 smokeslike a b**** on startup then slows down a bit but doesnt go away.....im not woried about fixin it but wats the thickest oil u can run safely in a sho replies are appreciated

im sure you can run 40, 50 might be to thick though, try some of that anti smoke crap, its like molasses or some restore to help seal the rings back up.
