You got it in the topic...I got my slicers mounted with stock size tires for my 89. It feels as if more energy is wasted trying to turn the bigger wheels and tires. Is this my imagination or not?
Thanks!
The 15" lace wheels are real light, and help with throttle response in the older gen1 cars. And with street radials, most of the time a little more sidewall will help you get grip in a straight line. I always had my best 60' times in my old 89 when I was running the 15" wheels on street tires vs 16"
